How to pay for ChatGPT, Adobe and Semrush from Bangladesh
ChatGPT, Adobe, Semrush, Figma. Your whole toolkit bills in dollars, every month, on autopay. When one renewal fails, you find out mid-task.
Here's why that happens on Bangladeshi cards and how to pay your tool stack in USD instead.
Why subscriptions fail on local cards
Bangladesh Bank caps online international card payments at USD 300 per transaction. They come out of your unused annual travel quota plus up to USD 1,000 a year (FEPD-1 Circular 40, 30 Sep 2026). Keep your Meta payment threshold below USD 300 so each charge fits.
Subscriptions add their own problems:
- Renewals arrive on their own schedule. A card that worked at signup can fail on renewal day because the month's ad spend used up your headroom.
- Small foreign charges add up. A handful of tools at $10 to $150 each eat into your yearly dollar allowance every single month.
- VAT on top. From 1 July 2026, banks collect 15% VAT on payments for services from abroad when the customer isn't VAT-registered (Ismail and Associates, Finance Act 2026 guide).
What common tools bill in
| Tool | What Bangladesh accounts are billed in | nsave fee |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT Plus | USD by default. OpenAI offers local-currency billing in some countries, so check the currency at checkout (OpenAI Help) | 0% billed in USD |
| Adobe | Adobe uses regional pricing. A price tracker lists Bangladesh at ৳3,266 a month, but its figures mix adobe.com and app store prices, so check the currency at checkout (Geopriced, 2026) | 0% billed in USD |
| Semrush | USD by default. Some countries can or must pay in local currency (Semrush terms) | 0% billed in USD |
| Figma | USD. Figma only bills in USD, GBP, CAD, EUR and JPY (Figma Help) | 0% billed in USD |
nsave charges 0% on USD transactions and 1% to 1.5% on non-USD transactions. If a tool shows you prices in BDT, check whether you can change your billing country or currency to USD in your account settings. Some tools set it from your card or location and won't let you change it.
One card for the tool stack
- Pay every tool with your nsave USD Visa card.
- 0% fee on USD charges.

If you're a freelancer, your clients' payments can fund your tools directly. See How to get an ACH as a freelancer from Bangladesh.
A quick setup

- Update the payment method in each tool's billing page to your nsave card.
- Check each one shows a USD price.
- Keep one month of subscriptions as a buffer in your USD balance.
