nsave Business: Payroll Accounts and Application Fee Terms

1. Pause on new business accounts
We're improving nsave Business. Until 30 January 2027, we won't accept new applications for general business accounts.
Existing customers are not affected. If you already have a business account, or your application was submitted before Sep 30 2026, you can keep using your account as normal.
2. New payroll accounts
During the pause, the only new business accounts we'll open are payroll accounts. A payroll account works like a regular business account. You can receive payments from clients and move funds. The difference is that its core value is for businesses that pay people through nsave.
3. Application fee
- Applying for a payroll account costs $200. The fee helps us focus on serious applications and give every business the level of service it expects.
- The fee is due when you apply.
- The fee is not refundable if you do not meet the T&Cs.
4. Getting the $200 back
We'll refund the $200 once your total payroll transfers through nsave pass $40,000 USD.
- This accounts for the total amount of every payroll transfer since your account opened.
- We'll send the refund to your nsave Business account within 15 business days of you reaching the total.
5. What counts as payroll
A payroll transfer is a payment from your nsave Business account to an individual's account. Payments to other businesses don't count.
Payroll transfers must be sent as bulk payments. A bulk payment means more than 10 transfers to individuals in the same calendar month.
6. Monthly payroll requirement
To keep a payroll account, you must send payroll transfers (as defined in section 5) at least once every calendar month.
