nsave Pricing Guide

A simple, complete rundown of what we charge for and what's free.
Everything here reflects the fees live in the nsave app today. All amounts are in US Dollars (USD) unless noted.
Plans: FREE vs PRO
nsave has two plans. The FREE plan costs nothing and it's what everyone starts on. The PRO plan is $9.99/month and gets you lower fees plus a handful of free uses each month on the most common actions.
Getting a card
You pay a one-time fee when you order your first card, taken from your USD balance.
On the FREE plan, your first card (virtual or physical) costs $40. On PRO, that drops to $20. Additional or replacement cards are $1.99 on FREE and $1.00 on PRO.
If you top up a card in a non-USD currency, for example funding a GBP card using your USD balance, a conversion fee applies. That's 2% on FREE and 1% on PRO.
Opening extra accounts
Your first USD account is always free. If you want to open more, here's what to expect.
A GBP account costs $1.99 on FREE and is completely free on PRO. USD wire details are also $1.99 on FREE and free on PRO.
Receiving money
FPS (GBP transfers in the UK)
$1.00 on FREE, free on PRO.
ACH (US bank-to-bank)
0.3% of the deposit on FREE. On PRO it's the same 0.3%, but your first ACH deposit each month is free.
SWIFT international wires in USD
$6.39 on FREE. On PRO it's $3.59, with one free incoming wire per month.
Card deposits (topping up with a debit or credit card)
On FREE, you pay 4.5% of the amount plus a flat $0.05. On PRO, that's 3.0% plus $0.05. As an example, a $100 top-up on FREE costs $4.55 in fees.
Sending money
FPS transfers out
$1.00 on FREE, free on PRO.
SWIFT out in USD
$12.99 on FREE, $10.49 on PRO, with one free outgoing wire per month on PRO.
International payouts (sending to a local bank abroad)
PRO users get 2 free payouts per month. For most countries there's a small flat fee plus a small percentage of the amount. A few specific corridors like Turkey, Morocco and Algeria have their own tailored pricing based on local conditions.
As for the exchange rate on your payout: PRO users always get our best available rate. On FREE you still get a very competitive rate but PRO squeezes out a little extra for you on every transfer.
Egypt collections (money coming in from Egypt)
3.5% on FREE and 1.5% on PRO.
Currency exchange
When you convert between your own balances inside nsave, say swapping USD to GBP, there's a self-conversion fee of 1.0% on FREE and 0.4% on PRO.
Stock investing
Stock trades have three fee components stacked together, but the total is capped at $1.00 per order no matter how large the trade.
The components are: $0.20 per order, 0.1% of the trade value, and 0.5% of the share price per share. In practice, the $1.00 cap kicks in quickly on anything but the smallest trades.
PRO users get 5 free trades per month on each fee component.
Payment links
When you create a payment link and someone uses it to pay you, a fee applies to that transaction. It's 4.5% on FREE and 3.0% on PRO.
Rewards (what we pay you)
We pay interest on your USD balance, credited as rewards. FREE plan users earn 3.2% APY. PRO plan users earn 4.2% APY. There's a cap on how much of your balance earns interest, which our team sets and may adjust over time.
What's always free
A few things have no nsave fee at all, regardless of your plan:
FPS transfers on PRO
Crypto and stablecoin deposits and withdrawals (you only pay the blockchain's own network fee)
Receiving a payment via payment link
Closing your account
Inactivity
Minimum balance requirements (there aren't any)
Overdrafts (we don't let you go negative)
One note on ATMs: any fee you see at an ATM is charged by the ATM operator or card network, not by nsave.
PRO monthly free allowances at a glance
If you're on PRO, here's what you get free each month before standard fees kick in:
2 international payouts
1 SWIFT USD incoming wire
1 SWIFT USD outgoing wire
1 ACH deposit
5 free stock trades (per fee component)
Quick summary
The FREE plan is $0/month, you pay as you go. The PRO plan is $9.99/month and gives you lower fees across the board plus free monthly uses on the most popular actions. The biggest savings on PRO are on card top-ups, currency exchange, international payouts and stock trading. You also earn a higher interest rate on your balance at 4.2% APY vs 3.2%, which can offset the monthly cost if you keep a healthy balance.
